Zhe Cao received a Master of Science of Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Zhe reads and composes architecture as a spatial and programmatic antidote to calibrate social tension and complicity. His works mainly focus on architecture typology, city forms, as well as spatial, material and tectonic locality of architecture. Besides, he believes that photography and filmmaking help depicting urban context and building architectural narrative. At Columbia GSAPP, Zhe is investigating city study and radical urbanism, spatial and programmatic anomaly, and programming on-site actor network.
